Nursery Care
Children are always welcome in our worship services. Additionally, for the comfort of both caregivers and children, we have nursery care available for smaller children to be able to play and worship in their own ways that are developmentally appropriate.
10AM – Sunday School
Sunrise is happy to offer Sunday School classes for children and youth, from infants through 12th grade. Classes meet each Sunday morning at 10am. See our Sunday School page for more information.
11AM – Children’s Church
For children 4 years old through 2nd grade, we provide Children’s Church during our 11:00am service. This time engages younger children in activities pertaining to Bible stories, significant holy days within the Christian year, and fun with friends their age. Children’s Church offers an opportunity for our young disciples to learn about worship before becoming fully engaged in our service. Children begin worshiping with their families in the sanctuary and are dismissed by the pastor after a prayer. They’ll be led to their classrooms by our leaders. Please consider volunteering to help lead as you’re able so everyone at Sunrise has a chance to worship and learn.
Should your child wish to stay in worship with you, we have worship kits that include coloring sheets and crayons and kid’s Bible story books to keep the occupied. Please see a greeter in our church lobby to pick one up.
Children are also invited to serve as ushers and greeters, scripture readers, communion stewards, and acolytes.
