Adult Choir-Provides choral music for The Sunday 11:00 a.m. relaxed traditional worship service. Adults and Youth, grade 6 and up. Weekly rehearsals Wednesdays 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. No prior experience needed.
Praise Band- (John Classen , leader) Provides music for the Sunday, 8:30 a.m. blended contemporary worship service. Weekly rehearsals- Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. (Sanctuary). Instrumentalists need some prior experience.
Children’s Music - Younger Elementary Singers, age 4 through second grade, meet on Sunday mornings at the start of the Sunday School hour. They are led by two of our high schoolers, Meghan Pearson and Julia Mileski. Older elementary children (Grades 3-5) are invited to sing and play instruments on Sunday afternoons with Jay and Laura Rabon: options include Guitar Ensemble at 3:00 p.m. and Kids’ Praise Band at 3:30 p.m.
Youth Praise Bands (Fireproof) - (Jay and Laura Rabon, leaders) Middle School Praise Band meets at 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. High school Praise Band meets at 6:30 p.m. on Sundays. Each group leads music in Sunday worship about 4 to 5 times a year, as well as occasional outreach performances. No prior musical experience required.
Liturgical Dancers - Our Liturgical dance Ministry uses a combination of classical dance, sign language and pantomime to interpret music and scripture for worship. Adults, youth, and children at least 5 years old are invited. Laura Garrett is our contact person.
Altar Guild - Our Altar Guild creates banners and other visual art to enhance our worship spaces. They also care for the communion setup and cleanup for worship. ( Contact Laura Garrett, Minister of Music and Arts.)
Handbell Choir- (Laura Garrett - Director) Plays for various services throughout the year. Weekly rehearsals-Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. (Sanctuary). Open to adults and youth grade 6 and up. No prior experience is needed.
Band and Orchestral Instrumentalists (Contact Laura Garrett, Minister of Music and Arts) Instrumental Ensemble provides special music for services during the year. Rehearsals are scheduled as needed. Open to players of all ages who have had at least one year of playing experience.
Men’s Chorus-(Contact Laura Garrett, Music and Arts Minister or Bob Mustian) Sings for various services throughout the year. Rehearsals are scheduled as needed. Open to all men. No prior experience is needed.
Vocalists/Instrumentalists-(Laura Garrett - Music and Arts Minister) Provide special music for services or special events.
Audio / Visual Technologies - Persons skilled in using A/V technologies are needed at each of our weekly worship services: Saturday night and Sunday mornings. Contact Laura Garrett or Tom Staley.
