Maybe you’ve driven by a few times and wondered about us. Maybe you’re new to the area and want to find a new community for you and your family. Maybe you looked online for a United Methodist Church and we popped up in your search. However you got here, welcome! We’d love to make your first visit to Sunrise as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Sunday Morning Worship

We offer worship services on Sunday mornings at 9am (contemporary, upbeat, and casual) and 11am (traditional, with familiar hymns and prayers). If you’d like to try out either service online before attending in person, stream live on Sundays or watch past services in their entirety on Facebook or YouTube.

When you do decide to visit in person, here are some things to know. We have a large parking lot with plenty of space – some of the best spots near the front doors are reserved just for guests. As you enter, you will be greeted by one of our regular congregants – please ask them if you have any questions or need any information. We also have a dedicated welcome table in the center of our lobby filled with resources you can take home that will help you get acclimated to everything we have to offer.

As for the services themselves, expect music, prayer, scripture reading, and a sermon. We also serve Communion by intinction (walk up to the altar, receive a piece of bread, dip it into the juice, consume the elements together, return to your seat for prayer and contemplation) at every service – everyone, regardless of affiliation, age, or membership, are more than welcome to partake.

Sunrise Kids

We are a family church, and we welcome your kids of all ages. If they stay with you during worship services, we have activity bags and fidget toys available to help keep little ones engaged. That said, noise is expected and celebrated at Sunrise, so don’t worry! We also offer Children’s Church during both worship services, in which your kids may go spend the hour with teachers equipped to engage them in lessons and activities on their level.
