2024-2025 Preschool Schedule and Openings

Sunrise Preschool ReGISTRATION

Registration for the 2024 – 2025 school year is on Tuesday, January 16th, at 10 am. It is lottery style so you must come in person with papers filled out. You can download the papers below. We ask that you stay until your child is placed in a class. It takes about 30 minutes total. At the time of placement, a $200 non refundable registration fee is due to hold your child’s spot in the class. Registration fees must be paid by check or cash. We will have an Open House on Wednesday, January 10th at 10:00 am for all new students. I will give you a tour of the school and give details about each class and the program as a whole. If this time does not work for you, please email Rachel Davis at preschooldirector@mysunrise.org to arrange a private tour. Below, you’ll find links for both registration and enrollment/student information forms. Please note, all students must be up to date on their immunizations, no waivers accepted.

TOURS

In-house tours are offered daily between 10 – 12:30 pm.  Please contact the preschool director to schedule an appointment.

Inclement Weather policy

Sunrise Preschool follows a modified Wake County Public School System calendar. We are closed on all the same holidays and most of the teacher workdays. You will get a calendar at Meet The Teacher that gives you all dates of activities, including school closures.

If inclement weather is predicted, Sunrise Preschool will follow the Wake County Public School System. If WCPSS is closed due to weather, Sunrise Preschool will be closed due to weather. If the public schools open one hour late due to weather conditions, SUMCP will begin at 10 am. If WCPSS opens on a 2 or 3 hour delay, SUMC Preschool will be closed.

The preschool is unable to make up snow days.
