Sunrise UMC Youth Scholarship 2025

The Sunrise UMC Men’s Ministry is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Sunrise UMC youth/high school senior to receive financial support toward their continuing education beyond high school through a one-time monetary gift.

An applicant must be a current Sunrise UMC Youth and high school senior who is currently participating in activities and organizations that embody the spirit and guidance of Jesus Christ. Examples of these activities include but are not limited to FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) events and activities, Christian Camp organizations, Sunrise UMC Youth Group, and Sunrise UMC Church connected ministry/mission events. An applicant should also be enrolled in an accredited two-year or four-year degree program for the 2025-2026 school year.

This application will remain open until April 15, 2025. A selection team made up of three active adult leaders within Sunrise UMC will review applications and make the final selection of the recipient. The value of this scholarship will fall within the range of $500 to $1000. Depending on the number of applicants, an interview with the selection team may be necessary. Award of this gift is dependent on the recipient being enrolled in an accredited two-year or four-year College/University academic program in the 2025/2026 academic year.
