We’re excited to have you planning a visit to Sunrise! If you have any concerns or questions before you come, please contact the church office at 919-303-3720 or any of our staff members directly.
What to Expect
We have a large parking lot with plenty of space– some of the best ones are reserved just for visitors. As you enter, someone will greet you at the door. Please ask them if you have any questions or need any information. You’ll see people in everything from suits to shorts and a t-shirt in all of our services, so please dress as you feel comfortable for worship. As you enter, announcements will be on the screen to help familiarize you with upcoming events. There is a station to write down prayer concerns if you desire them to be shared in worship, or you will have opportunity to do so aloud as well. All our services feature a time of music, prayer, scripture reading, and a sermon– each in its own way.
Which Worship Service is for me?
We offer three distinct worship experiences each weekend, but all three contain the same sermon message:
- Saturday 5:05pm ReFuel Service – This service offers communion every week in a relaxed, low-lighting, casual worship service with praise music led by a single guitar.
- Sunday 8:30am Praise and Worship Service – This service offers a praise band which includes guitar, keyboard, drums, bass, and singers.
- Sunday 11:00am Relaxed Traditional Service – This service usually offers piano accompaniment to more hymns but sometimes features our youth or children’s praise bands as well.
Just for Kids
Children’s Worship Bags and Children’s Bulletins are always available at the entrance table to help keep little ones engaged during the worship service. On Sunday mornings, we provide nursery care for children under 4 and a Children’s Church Time during the sermon for ages 4 through second grade, but children are also welcome to stay with parents in the worship service, too.
Leave Your Info For a Follow Up
We would love to thank you for visiting — please leave your contact information during worship so a member of our Welcome Team and our Pastor can follow up with you after your visit.
